Contest Rules

The Thin Line Rock Station — General Contest Rules

These General Contest Rules apply to contests, giveaways, sweepstakes, and promotions conducted by The Thin Line Rock Station unless specific rules for an individual promotion state otherwise.

1. Eligibility
Unless otherwise stated, contests are open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, owners, DJs, contractors, and immediate family members of The Thin Line Rock Station may not be eligible to participate.

Some contests may have additional eligibility requirements. Those requirements will be stated with the individual contest.

2. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

3. How to Enter
Entry methods will vary by contest and may include calling or texting the station, completing an online form, scanning a QR code, submitting a photo or other content, or participating through social media.

Each contest will include instructions explaining how to enter. Entries that are incomplete, submitted after the deadline, or do not follow the stated instructions may be disqualified.

4. Social Media Contests
For contests involving social media, entrants must follow the instructions provided for that specific promotion.

If the contest requires tagging The Thin Line Rock Station, the entrant must tag or select the station's official social media account. Simply typing “The Thin Line Rock Station” in a caption or using a hashtag may not qualify as a valid tag when the contest specifically requires the station's account to be tagged.

Some promotions may offer additional or bonus entries for actions such as including a participating partner, location, booth, product, or other specified item in a post or photo. Bonus-entry requirements will be clearly identified for that promotion.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, social-media posts used as contest entries must be visible to The Thin Line Rock Station so the entry can be verified.

5. Social Media Disclaimer
Contests conducted through or involving Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, or other social-media platforms are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with those platforms unless specifically stated otherwise.

By participating, entrants acknowledge that they are providing their information to The Thin Line Rock Station and not to the applicable social-media platform.

6. Photos, Videos and Submitted Content
When a contest requires the submission or posting of a photograph, video, artwork, story, or other content, the entrant represents that they have the right to submit that material.

By entering, the entrant grants The Thin Line Rock Station permission to share, repost, display, broadcast, and promote the submitted material in connection with the contest, the station, and its promotional activities, with credit when reasonably practical.

For entries involving children or minors, the entry must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. Children should not submit personal information directly to The Thin Line Rock Station.

7. Entry Limits and Bonus Entries
Unless otherwise stated, each person may enter once per contest or promotion.

Individual contests may allow additional or bonus entries. Any method for earning additional entries will be explained in the specific contest instructions.

Duplicate, automated, fraudulent, manipulated, or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified.

8. Winners
Winners may be selected by random drawing, judging criteria, on-air participation, or another method identified for the individual contest.

Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

Potential winners will be contacted using the contact information provided with their entry or through the social-media account used to enter. Winners may be required to respond within a specified period. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the stated period, is determined to be ineligible, or fails to satisfy the contest requirements, another winner may be selected.

9. Prizes
Prize descriptions and approximate values will be provided with each individual contest when applicable.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash unless The Thin Line Rock Station specifically allows otherwise. The station reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

Winners are responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes or other expenses associated with accepting or using a prize.

10. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize gives The Thin Line Rock Station permission to use the winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, city/state, and submitted contest material for reasonable promotional purposes without additional compensation.

11. Fair Play
The Thin Line Rock Station reserves the right to disqualify entries reasonably believed to involve fraud, automated entries, fake accounts, manipulation of the contest, false information, tampering, or attempts to circumvent the contest rules.

Please don't make us write a new rule because you found a creative way to cheat. We would much rather spend that time playing music.

12. Changes or Cancellation
The Thin Line Rock Station reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone, or cancel a contest when circumstances beyond the station's reasonable control prevent the promotion from being conducted as intended.

If changes are necessary, updated information will be posted through the station's website, social-media accounts, or other appropriate channels.

13. Privacy
Information collected for a contest will be used to administer the promotion, contact winners, and for other purposes disclosed when the information is collected.

The Thin Line Rock Station will not sell contest entrants' personal information to third parties.

14. Specific Contest Rules
Individual contests may have additional rules, entry periods, eligibility requirements, prizes, bonus-entry opportunities, or instructions.

When specific contest rules differ from these General Contest Rules, the specific rules for that contest will control.
